Arianna Casoli is happy after she took her fifth overall Lady Trophy victory at Zolder, a new record for the female driver special classification in EuroNASCAR 2.

Arianna Casoli completed her ninth EuroNASCAR season with another historic feat. A 22nd place finish in Race 1 of EuroNASCAR Finals at Circuit Zolder was enough to secure a record fifth overall Lady Trophy victory for the SpeedHouse Racing driver.

Casoli entered the round with a large advantage to Luli del Castello that is still mathematically possible to be beaten, but a first lap crash for del Castello sealed Casoli’s overall Lady Trophy win.

“I’m obviously very happy and proud of my fifth Lady Trophy title in EuroNASCAR,” said Casoli in SpeedHouse’s post-race press release.

“But I am equally pleased to have finally resolved an issue I’ve always had with Zolder, where in Race 2 I finally found a way to achieve satisfactory lap times — my best ever on this track. However, I also know where I can still improve.”

2024 has been a magical year for Casoli, who became the first driver to start 100 races in EuroNASCAR 2 history on the previous round at Oschersleben.

“The milestone of one hundred races has attracted interest at both national and international level and it is nice to see the interest fueled by my story,” said Casoli to Commissione Sportiva AC Reggio Emilia

“I never thought I would reach it and it was a special moment that brought back so many memories, leading me to reflect on these nine intense seasons in the category.”

“Above all, however, I like the spirit that has been created around me, the many children who follow me and come to look for me with their parents at the various events, but also the love of my teammates who appreciate what I do. Their support gives me the energy to try to improve.”

Casoli is currently working hard to ensure that she’ll be back on the grid for her tenth EuroNASCAR season campaign.

At 50 years of age, Casoli is at her fastest thanks to the coaching of team boss Lucas Lasserre and she wants to continue her steady improvement in 2025.

“Now I’m focusing on the next season,” adds Casoli in SpeedHouse’s press release. “I hope to soon confirm my participation, always with SpeedHouse. I just need to secure some support to finalize the necessary budget.”

“I’ve already done it personally, but I would like to thank everyone who supported me throughout this past season and the entire SpeedHouse staff!”
