Bremotion driver Julien Rehberg announced plans to compete in both EuroNASCAR PRO and EuroNASCAR 2 for the upcoming round at Vallelunga.

Julien Rehberg will do the double duty and compete in both classes for the American Festival of Rome at Autodromo Vallelunga, as revealed by the Bremotion driver on Instagram Story yesterday.

After an impressive debut at Spain where the 18-year old finished seventh and claimed the Rookie Trophy victory in both races, Rehberg will complement his EuroNASCAR 2 campaign with a debut in EuroNASCAR’s top division.

“Julien Rehberg will give his PRO Series debut as an 18-year old rookie in Italy this weekend,” announced the driver of the No. 77 Auto Rehberg/EffectXMed Camaro on Instagram Story.

World of EuroNASCAR reached out to Julien’s father Thies Rehberg and he confirmed that his son is indeed going to do the double in Italy.

“We plan to take part in the PRO too to have more driving time there,” said Thies, the owner of classic Porsche dealer and service company Auto Rehberg. “He [Julien] just had the opportunity to train the Autodromo Vallelunga with a simrace computer.”

Julien greatly exceeded expectations during his first competitive outing at Valencia. The young German driver was only targeting top-20 finishes, but he showed what he’s capable of by becoming the best rookie driver in EN2.

Even though Julien was taken by surprise with how well he performed in Spain and is now leading the Rookie Trophy, Thies said that his son did not feel an extra pressure during his preparation for the upcoming races at Vallelunga.

“He does not feel extra pressure,” said Thies. “Racing is such a nice thing for him, he just loves it and now he knows how to handle that car.”

“He also knows that he will get better with the handling the more time he has to drive, so he is confident that his performance will grow better in Vallelunga.”
