Marko Stipp Motorsport welcomes 48-year old debutant Henrik Peters as part of the team’s EuroNASCAR Rookie Challenge squad in 2026.
Henrik Peters will embark on his first full racing campaign at the ripe old age of 48 years old. Peters is set to join Marko Stipp Motorsport after a successful outing at MSM’s Discovery Day tests.
The driver from Kleinmachow will start his NASCAR Euro Series journey in Rookie Challenge, making him the first driver to be confirmed in the regularity-based division.
“We are thrilled to welcome Henrik Peters to the Marko Stipp Motorsport family for the 2026 NASCAR Euro Series season!” MSM announced on 12 January 2026.
“Henrik is set to make his debut in the Rookie Challenge, proving that passion has no age limit. At 48, Henrik secured his seat after impressing us during our winter test session.”
“He holds a special distinction as the very first graduate of our MSM Discovery Day! From track days and sim racing to the real deal, we are excited to guide him step-by-step.”
The announcement also confirms Marko Stipp Motorsport’s return as a full-season entrant. MSM competed part-time in 2025, having been unable to secure a full-season driver for any of their entries.
MSM team manager Chris Liemann is excited at Peters’ arrival, stating that the “chemistry between us was right from the start” and is looking forward to guiding Henrik “to prepare him for [EuroNASCAR] OPEN next year.”
“I am absolutely thrilled to confirm my participation in the 2026 NASCAR Euro Series season,” added Peters to nascar.eu.
“Taking this next step means the world to me, and I am highly motivated to work relentlessly with the team to achieve competitive results.”
“I’m eager for the season to start and ready for the challenges ahead. I want to sincerely thank Marko Stipp Motorsport for their confidence in me and this fantastic opportunity.”
“My focus is to learn, develop, and give everything I have throughout the 2026 season.”
