EuroNASCAR revealed an Entry List of 58 drivers and 26 teams across all classes for the 2025 NASCAR GP Germany at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben.

NASCAR Euro Series officially announced the Entry List for the 2025 NASCAR GP Germany on 16 September 2025. 58 drivers and 26 teams will compete across all three classes, the largest Entry List for an EuroNASCAR round since the 2025 opener in Valencia.

All teams from the previous round in Czechia will return to Germany, although changes are set to occur at CAAL Racing.

CAAL opted to not bring the Sharks Team Italia-aligned No. 89 car to Germany. Its usual driver Davide Frulio will “borrow” the two-seater EuroNASCAR car – the No. 17 Ford – for his Rookie Challenge appearance instead.

The Italian team also hadn’t finished work on repairs for the No. 88 Camaro. Unlike the Czech round, this time Max Lanza will also be sidelined because CAAL is entrusted with fielding the Germany round’s special guest: Raphaël Lessard.

Lessard, the NASCAR Canada ace, will make his EuroNASCAR debut as part of the drivers exchange program onboard the CAAL and Team FJ-prepared No. 75 Chevrolet Camaro sponsored by Rousseau Metal.

Two teams absent in Most also made their return in Oschersleben. Marko Stipp Motorsport made its long awaited return after early season mutual releases forced the German team’s absence for most of the season.

MSM have already announced Loris Cencetti onboard the No. 47 Chevrolet Camaro. Cencetti will make his EuroNASCAR OPEN debut, with a second appearance in Rookie Challenge also scheduled for the Luxembourger.

The Entry List revealed that Cencetti will be joined by 2022 runner-up Alexander Graff. Graff is set to make his first EuroNASCAR race in three years, having last appeared in the 2022 finale at Rijeka.

MSM will also bring their flagship No. 48 car to Oschersleben. All three seats are taken in the No. 48, featuring a cast of two returnees and one debutant.

Ukrainian Yevgen Sokolovskiy returns to EuroNASCAR PRO after two years of absence. Sokolovskiy currently competes in historic racing following his successful stints in EuroNASCAR with MSM and sports cars with PROsport/Aston Martin.

Joining Sokolovskiy in EuroNASCAR OPEN is another Marko Stipp Motorsport veteran, Gordon Barnes. Barnes will be reacquainted with the No. 48 car that brought him to back-to-back Rookie Challenge titles.

Completing the No. 48’s roster is Canadian V8 Oval Series racer Thomas Pourrain. Pourrain joins fellow Canadian Lessard in making his EuroNASCAR debut at Oschersleben, with Pourrain starting his journey from the bottom in Rookie Challenge.

Team Japan Needs24 also made its return after their last outing in Valencia. As always, owner-driver and veteran EuroNASCAR competitor Kenko Miura will race the No. 74 Toyota in both classes.

Academy Motorsport will also field a returning veteran in the No. 1 IceFactory Europe Ford Mustang. Dario Caso will make his EuroNASCAR return with Academy, marking Caso’s first appearance in a car that is not sponsored by Italicus.

Caso is therefore set to make his 100th EuroNASCAR PRO start in Oschersleben. He will join Gianmarco Ercoli and Frederic Gabillon as the only drivers to reach the century mark in EuroNASCAR’s top division.

Federico Monti will be absent this time around, as did Marc Goossens who recently led RedAnt Racing to their first overall victory in the 24 Hours of Zolder.

Fellow Italian Giovanni Faraonio also makes his return to the championship with Club Competition.

Faraonio will race in the top class as the OPEN seat is already taken by Jordan O’Brien, who wants revenge after his maiden win in Czechia was taken away by a post-race penalty.

One Italian who sadly will not compete is Arianna Casoli, who’s still recovering from her injury at Vallelunga. With Fabrice Pantani’s appearance at Most being a one-off, SpeedHouse decided to place José Antonio Peñalta as Casoli’s replacement in Germany.

Peñalta will also continue to defend his Rookie Challenge winning streak, where the Spaniard is 3-for-3 in round wins so far.

Rookie Challenge itself featured a cast of 20 drivers, the largest Entry List in the regularity-based division’s history.

While six participants will compete under the non-championship “rookie” provisions, the 14 championship-scoring drivers still represents a new record for Rookie Challenge.

Out of the 14, two will join Pourrain in the list of Rookie Challenge debutants: Israeli Ofek Eliyahu and American Jonathan Meyer.

Unfortunately, information about either driver is really scarce, so there’s no short introduction that we can provide for them at this moment in time.
