DF1 Racing enjoyed what they described as a successful weekend on last week's OMV MaxxMotion NASCAR Show at Autodrom Most after Marc Goossens scored his first podium finish of the season while strong finishes from Nicolò Rocca and Simon Pilate allowed them to maintain a strong position in their respective title race.
DF1 Racing expressed their satisfaction with the result that the team acquired from last weekend's American SpeedFest 8 at Brands Hatch after Nicolo Rocca scored his second podium finish of the season and impressive performances from the likes of Alexander Graff and Henri Tuomaala.
DF1 Racing's star driver Nicolò Rocca considers the season-opening NASCAR GP Spain at Circuit Ricardo Tormo to be a good start of the season after the Italian driver scored two Top-5 finishes and a podium in the first race despite struggles throughout the race week.
Nicolò Rocca will continue to race in EuroNASCAR after it was announced yesterday that Rocca, along with sponsor Grapos Softdrinks, has signed a contract extension that will saw them stay in DF1 Racing's No. 22 Chevrolet Camaro for the upcoming 2021 season.
After being spotted testing for the team earlier this month, Nicolò Rocca has been confirmed to be the driver that will race DF1 Racing’s No. 22 Chevrolet Camaro in the PRO class this year as a replacement driver for Ander Vilariño, who withdrew from the season due to the effects caused by the pandemic.
