EuroNASCAR PRO – Fastest Lap Scorer by Age
The all-time table for the youngest and oldest fastest lap scorers in EuroNASCAR’s top division, EuroNASCAR PRO.
Having the fastest car is often the key to winning in the NASCAR Euro Series. A clear indication of a machine’s speed is its ability to set the fastest lap time during a race.
A total of 28 different drivers and 21 different teams have secured the Fastest Lap award since the first season under official NASCAR sanctioning in 2012.
Listed below are the all-time table for EuroNASCAR PRO’s youngest and oldest fastest lap scorers. The list excludes races that are not considered as part of the official championship calendar, such as the 2012 exhibition race at Tours and the two Trofeo Angelo Caffi tournaments.
NOTE : The list shown below are correct as of the end of the 2024 EuroNASCAR Finals at Circuit Zolder. Drivers shown in “bold” are drivers that have competed in at least one (1) EuroNASCAR PRO race of the 2024 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season.

YOUNGEST FASTEST LAP SCORERS
Ulysse Delsaux is the youngest fastest lap scorer in EuroNASCAR PRO. Delsaux was 18 years and 278 days old when he set the best race lap time in Race 2 of the 2016 Tours Motor Show at Tours Speedway.
Delsaux beat the previous record set by Eddie Cheever III, who was 21 years and 107 days old when he secured his first fastest lap award in 2014.

OLDEST FASTEST LAP SCORERS
Jacques Villeneuve is the oldest fastest lap scorer in EuroNASCAR PRO. Villeneuve was 50 years and 204 days old when he set the best lap time in Race 1 of the 2021 American Festival of Rome at Autodromo Vallelunga.
Villeneuve beat the previous record set by Marc Goossens, who was 48 years and 171 days old when he set the fastest lap at Franciacorta in 2018.
