Martin Doubek and Martin Macík were grateful to receive “incredible support” from the fans that attended the 2025 NASCAR GP Czech Republic at Autodrom Most.

Czech racing heroes Martin Doubek and Martin Macík gave their gratitude to all fans that attended and supported the 2025 NASCAR GP Czech Republic, held in collaboration between NASCAR Euro Series and European Truck Racing Championship.

Both drivers spoke about the fan support in a press release published by Autodrom Most on 2 September 2025.

Doubek entered the Czechia round as a home coming hero, as it represented the first Czech round since he clinched his record second EuroNASCAR OPEN title in 2024.

Despite Doubek failing to score any victories, the reigning EuroNASCAR OPEN champion still considers the Czech round to be his best so far owing to the fan support that he received throughout the weekend.

“When I saw the full grandstands during the formation lap, it was incredible,” said Doubek in the press release.

“Even though it wasn’t a victory this time, I consider two second places and a show for the fans to be a huge experience. This weekend was the best of the season for me.”

For Macík, the round at Autodrom Most marked the 2024 and 2025 Dakar champion’s first opportunity at racing the ETRC-spec trucks. Macík competed as a wildcard, racing the No. 30 Prometeon Iveco for Team Hahn Racing.

The unfamiliar ETRC machines proved to be a challenging machine for Macík, who failed to finish inside the top-10 in the four races held.

However, like Doubek, Macík kept his head high after the weekend. Macík thanked ETRC and Autodrom Most for giving him the chance to race at one of Czech Republic’s premier racing venues.

“It was a wonderful experience for me,” said Macík in the press release. “I learned a lot of new things and we’ll see if I ever return to the circuit.”

“I would like to thank Autodrom Most for allowing me to race here and experience it with the fans, the support was incredible!”

The 2025 NASCAR GP Czech Republic also saw the EuroNASCAR debut of Michal Makeš. Already a former TCR Eastern European champion back in 2021, Makeš was signed by Team Bleekemolen to race their new No. 76 Toyota Camry in EuroNASCAR PRO for the Czech round.

Makeš proved his speed right from the start, finishing 11st in his maiden event on Saturday after a race-long battle with teammate Bruno Mulders.

He improved his results in an attrition-filled Sunday race, claiming eighth place to ensure that all three Bleekemolen cars secured a top-10 finish at Autodrom Most.

World of EuroNASCAR reached out to Makeš to gather a comment after his strong EuroNASCAR debut. However, Makeš has yet to reply to the inquiry as of the writing of this article.
