Dominique Schaak will remain with Bremotion in EuroNASCAR 2 for another year, making him the first driver to be confirmed for the 2025 EuroNASCAR season.

The first puzzle piece in the drivers market for the 2025 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season has been revealed following the announcement of Dominique Schaak’s contract extension with Bremotion.

Schaak, who celebrated his 34th birthday at his home race in Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, will remain part of the German team for his second full season campaign in the EuroNASCAR 2 division.

“I’m really happy about the early extension with Bremotion and I’m excited to continue my NASCAR adventure,” said Schaak to euronascar.com. “I have been in motorsports for 25 years now and EuroNASCAR is the best series I have raced in.”

“The driver makes all the difference and it’s just pure racing. I love the atmosphere and the whole stage that the series has created for the drivers. The competitors are nice and that is how motorsports should be.”

“That is why I started racing and NASCAR has it all. Bremotion has impressed me and I’m happy to continue with them. Thanks to all my partners who make this adventure possible.”

Schaak is currently 15th in the EuroNASCAR 2 standings, ten points ahead of teammate Julien Rehberg. Schaak had made continuous progress from round to round, accumulating good finishes that allowed him to slowly climb up the running order.

He started off on a low note with a DNS in the first race at Valencia, but has finished all of the races since. Schaak’s consistency meant that he still had a chance to win the Rookie Trophy, where he had a 41 point deficit to Trophy leader Florian Richard.

“His results in the Rookie Trophy are promising and he showed a glimpse of his true potential at Oschersleben. He’s an important part of the team and supports us with off-track projects.”

“He brought 300 guests and incredible partners to the track. We want to continue with him for the long term and we’re happy to be able to announce him so early.”
