Profile:

Thomas Krasonis, Greece’s first NASCAR driver, first started his career at the age of 5 in karting before making his racing career in 2016 in the Junior Saloon Car Championship in the UK. After 2 years in JSCC, Krasonis moved to Italy to race in the Mini Challenge Italy, where he had a successful year with numerous podiums and a fourth place finish in the championship in his debut season last year. This year, Krasonis moved from Mini Challenge Italy to make his stock car racing debut in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series after Alex Caffi, who fielded a team in the Mini Challenge, was impressed by Krasonis’ performance and signed him to become the driver of Alex Caffi Motorsport’s No. 1 La Leonessa Ford Mustang in the Elite 2 class.
