Profile:

The first Iranian driver to compete in NASCAR, Sam Taheri primarily works as a businessman in his everyday life as he uses the money that he made as the founder of Dubai company Pooyeh International to fund his motorsport aspirations. Having previously competing in various endurance racing categories, Taheri made his Euro Series debut in 2017, competing double duty for Dog Racing and finishing inside the Top 15 in the final standings of both classes in his debut season.

After leaving the series to compete in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Middle East in 2018, the popular Iranian returns this season as he competes for CAAL Racing in the No. 31 Delphix Chevrolet SS at the season opening round in Valencia.
