NASCAR Euro Series enters a technical partnership with ORECA to enhance the series’ engine dyno validation, technical inspections, and future powertrain developments.
The NASCAR Euro Series officially announced a technical partnership with renowned race team and constructor ORECA to elevate EuroNASCAR’s engine program.
ORECA will assist EuroNASCAR in engine dyno validations and technical inspections, while also providing help with the development of future powertrains.
“Team FJ, organizer of the NASCAR Euro Series, signed a technical partnership with ORECA Motorsport to participate in the NASCAR Euro Series engine program through its engine department located in Magny-Cours, France,” announced EuroNASCAR on 7 September 2026.
“Moving forward, new and rebuilt EuroNASCAR spec V8 powerplants will undergo rigorous dyno validation by ORECA’s engine specialists before delivery to race teams.”
“Furthermore, ORECA’s Engine Department will support the technical inspection process by providing engine dyno analysis to guarantee an even better parity on track.”
“Looking down the road, both organizations will explore advanced engine development projects to power the long-term future of the best touring car racing in Europe.”
Formed by Hugues de Chaunac in 1973, ORECA is one of the leading groups for race car constructions. The French company specializes in sports car racing, but they also offer services in event organizing and business retail.
ORECA’s motorsport program remains its most famous entity, however, with a worldwide reputation in building some of the fastest sports cars and endurance prototypes.
ORECA currently dominates the LMP2 landscape with the ORECA 07 and is also working together with Acura, Alpine, Hyundai (through its Genesis brand) and Ford to develop LMDh machines for WEC and IMSA.
This rich heritage fits with EuroNASCAR’s vision to elevate its standards. As per the official statement, the partnership is a sign of EuroNASCAR’s continued commitment to “improve and set the benchmark for the best pure, intense touring car racing in Europe.”
