NASCAR Euro Series officially joins iRacing with the introduction of the Euro NASCAR V8GP as part of the sim racing game’s 2026 Season 3 build.
iRacing and NASCAR officially welcomed the addition of the NASCAR Euro Series race car to the racing sim. Officially listed as the “Euro NASCAR V8GP”, it is integrated as part of iRacing’s 2026 Season 3 build.
The addition was made public on 8 June 2026, almost a year to the day of EuroNASCAR’s iRacing integration announcement on 26 June 2025.
“We’re thrilled to expand our NASCAR footprint globally with the release of the Euro NASCAR V8GP on iRacing,” said iRacing president Tony Gardner.
“This car combines the strength of our relationship as NASCAR’s Official Simulation Partner with a style of racing that speaks to our ever-expanding European userbase.”
“It’s a fun, approachable car that will give stock car and road racers the best of both worlds, and we can’t wait to see how the community responds to racing it.”
The EuroNASCAR car’s iRacing representation was developed with the help of the drivers competing in the 2026 season.
Chief among which is Garrett Lowe, a long-time contender in the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series before he joined EuroNASCAR full-time in 2025.
Lowe, who currently sits second in the V8GP championship, expressed his excitement in seeing his real-life race car receiving a representation in iRacing.
“It was a fantastic experience to work with their engineers to develop the car,” said Lowe through BS+ Competition’s social media accounts.
“It was a lot of hard work, several weeks with their engineers daily to work on it and get the car right. It’s hard to drive these cars on the limit and I hope we got that [feeling right]. It does for me in the sim at least. I’m excited and I hope you guys enjoy it!”
EuroNASCAR’s iRacing integration served as the next major milestone for the championship, as it received an official video game representation for the first time in history.
Previous representations of the EuroNASCAR race car came unofficially in the form of mods for games such as NASCAR Racing 2003 Season and Assetto Corsa.
The Assetto Corsa mod, developed by Pessio Garage in 2021, was particularly notable for featuring real-life input by Davide Dallara and Not Only Motorsport, making it the most realistic EuroNASCAR model players can experience for the past five years.
As EuroNASCAR founder and President/CEO Jerome Galpin said, the official representation will provide fans and gamers with a new avenue to experience the series.
“Today marks an exciting milestone for the NASCAR Euro Series,” said Galpin in the official announcement. “We are very happy and proud to bring our unique Pure Racing spirit to the world of esports with the launch of the EuroNASCAR V8GP car on iRacing.”
“The V8GP Racecar is a truly special machine: the bridge between NASCAR V8 heritage and European GP racing spirit. Fully engineered to race on road courses, it is the perfect ambassador for the close, spectacular and demanding racing that defines the Official NASCAR European Championship.”
“This partnership opens a new door for fans, sim racers and drivers around the world to experience that unique racing beast firsthand.”
