MT Helmets and Solidaridad Sobre Ruedas hosted a charity event to support those affected by the 2024 Valencia floods during the 2026 Valencia NASCAR Fest.
The 2026 Valencia NASCAR Fest did not only host the NASCAR Euro Series season opener. It also hosted a special charity event organized by MT Helmets and Solidaridad Sobre Ruedas.
MT Helmets presented Solidaridad Sobre Ruedas with a check of €22,072 that they raised in a charity action during the 2025 Motul Grand Prix of the Valencian Community.
Solidaridad Sobre Ruedas, in return, announced the donation of eight vehicles to those affected by the 2024 Valencia flash floods.
Known locally as the “DANA”, the flash floods caused 238 deaths and an estimated damage of nearly 9 billion Euros, according to the 20 April 2026 data provided by the Spanish government.
Solidaridad Sobre Ruedas [Solidarity on Wheels] itself is a charity foundation that works with organizations and local governing bodies to “help restore mobility to the population affected by the DANA storm through vehicle donations”.
Solidaridad Sobre Ruedas has donated more than 570 vehicles since its founding in 2024 to the people in need of a direct transportation method after the floods.
The check handover was overseen by representatives of Circuit Ricardo Tormo, MT Helmets and Solidaridad Sobre Ruedas, who presented the check in NASCAR Euro Series’ Victory Lane stage.
“Solidaridad Sobre Ruedas has delivered eight more vehicles as part of its campaign to assist those affected by the DANA storm,” wrote Circuit Ricardo Tormo in its official report.
“With this delivery, the foundation has now delivered a total of 580 vehicles since the campaign began in November 2024.”
“During the event, the Foundation received a check for €22,072 from helmet manufacturer MT Helmets. Last November, the company launched a campaign selling a solidarity helmet featuring the Cheste circuit.”
“The proceeds from the campaign went directly to the Foundation, which continues its work to restore mobility to those affected by the disaster.”
