Mike Wise aims for the Rookie Challenge championship title as he enters his second NASCAR Euro Series campaign in 2026 with Club Competition.

The wakeskater-turned-racing driver Mike Wise is setting his sights for the Rookie Challenge championship title in his second NASCAR Euro Series season.

Wise announced his return to the series on 9 April, where he’s set to make a full season campaign with Club Competition in Rookie Challenge with the No. 55 Camaro.

“Mike Wise, the Texas-born professional wakeskater and skateboarder, has confirmed his return to the NASCAR Euro Series for the 2026 season, piloting the #55 Club Competition Chevrolet Camaro in the Rookie Challenge,” EuroNASCAR announced.

Wise spent his 2025 racing season learning the tips and tricks of stock car racing. To accelerate the process, Wise accepted any and all opportunities that he could find across Europe.

Notably in his maiden EuroNASCAR season, Wise not only competed in Rookie Challenge, but also a part-time campaign in EuroNASCAR OPEN.

His time in EuroNASCAR’s second division with both Lux Motorsport and a Team FJ-supported Team Bleekemolen entry resulted in a 22nd place finish in the overall standings, with a best result of 14th in his maiden OPEN race at Brands Hatch.

Wise also took up rides at Raceway Venray’s V8 Oval Series, Legend Cars Italia and Formula BRL, soaking up all the experience that he could get through these opportunities.

This commitment to stock car racing has given Wise the confidence heading to the 2026 season, where he’s going to face stiff competition from the likes of SpeedHouse, who will have four drivers competing in Rookie Challenge.

“With all the experience I gained in 2025, I’m more than ready to go for gold,” said Wise to World of EuroNASCAR. “I will consider anything less as a disappointment.”

“As long as I have a good race car with no technical problems, I believe I’m the favorite to win the Rookie Challenge championship in 2026.”
