Circuit Paul Ricard is set to join the NASCAR Euro Series schedule in 2026, setting the stage for the first NASCAR round held in France since 2018.
NASCAR Euro Series have revealed the sixth track that will make up the 2026 calendar in the official schedule announcement on 4 November 2025.
Circuit Paul Ricard, the legendary French circuit at Le Castellet, will make its first appearance in the EuroNASCAR calendar as the track that will host the previously-TBD Round 2 of the 2026 season.
EuroNASCAR is therefore set for its first French round in more than seven years. France – the home of EuroNASCAR’s organizers Team FJ – was last featured in 2018, when the last ever round at Tours Speedway was held.
Frédéric Gabillon and Alon Day shared the victories in EuroNASCAR PRO that year, while Ulysse Delsaux swept the weekend in EuroNASCAR OPEN.
According to the official graphic, EuroNASCAR is set to use the 3.841 kilometer-long 3C layout. The layout features 11 turns and includes the Mistral chicane used in Formula One’s recent Paul Ricard stint.
“Our 2026 calendar once again reflects what makes the NASCAR Euro Series so special: the diversity of our venues, the quality of our racing, and the passion of our fans,” said EuroNASCAR founder and CEO Jerome Galpin in the official announcement.
“We are thrilled to bring NASCAR back to France and to continue sharing the Pure Racing experience across Europe, where fans can get closer to the action, the teams, and the drivers like nowhere else.”
The upcoming round in Paul Ricard is scheduled to be a joint event with FFSA Championnat de France Camions’ Grand-Prix Camions du Castellet.
EuroNASCAR and FFSA Championnat de France Camions will therefore host their first joint round since 2014. However, this is the first joint event where both championships shared the top billings.
FFSA Championnat de France Camions are long-time partners of NASCAR Euro Series during EuroNASCAR’s formation years.
Several EuroNASCAR rounds from 2009 to 2014 were held as a support event for FFSA Camions before EuroNASCAR went fully independent in 2015, most notably the 2009-2014 rounds at Bugatti Circuit – the short layout of Circuit de la Sarthe in Le Mans.
EuroNASCAR’s rounds at Bugatti Circuit were held on the same weekend as FFSA Championnat de France Camions’ own yearly Le Mans event. It served as the season finale for both championships in all of those years.
“NASCAR is making a major comeback, setting up for their first time at the Circuit Paul Ricard for Le Castellet Truck Grand Prix,” said FFSA organizers Wheels Racing.
“As a reminder, the last collaboration between these two competitions dates back to 2014 during the 24 Hours truck race in Le Mans.”
“One thing is certain. When NASCAR meets the FFSA French Truck Championship, it’s far more than just a competition. It’s a true American-style show, where power, adrenaline, passion, and spectacle come together to thrill the crowd.”
