Valentino Gambarotto opts to stay with CAAL Racing for 2026, where he’s due to race the No. 73 car in EuroNASCAR OPEN.

Drifter-turned-circuit racer Valentino Gambarotto continues his participation in the NASCAR Euro Series with the announcement that was published on 2 April 2026.

Gambarotto will compete in his sophomore season with CAAL Racing, where he’s set to race the newly formed No. 73 team in EuroNASCAR OPEN.

Gambarotto’s decision meant that he had chosen to stay with the technical partners of his 2025 team Alumitec Racing.

This meant that Gianmarco Ercoli, Gambarotto’s teammate in 2025, will be the only driver from last year’s No. 11 Ford Mustang team to stay with Alumitec after they made it public of their plans to go independent in 2026.

Gambarotto established himself as a solid mid-pack driver in his debut season. The 18-year old scored four top-10 finishes, with a best finish of 8th in the Zolder finale.

These results were enough for Gambarotto to finish 13th in the championship. With a full season of experience under his belt, Gambarotto stated that he’ll be “more prepared and focused” heading to the new season.

“I’m happy to confirm my participation in the 2026 NASCAR Euro Series season,” said Gambarotto after confirming his return.

“After last year’s experience, I’m coming back more prepared and focused, ready to work hard and do my best throughout the season.”
