The January 2026 edition of NASCAR Recruitment Tests is expanded to a two-day event to accommodate everyone that booked their participation.
All spots for the January 2026 edition of NASCAR Euro Series Recruitment Tests (NRT) are fully booked, as officially announced by the series on 26 January 2026.
Eleven drivers from eight different countries will get the chance to experience the taste of the EuroNASCAR stock car machines at Circuits de Vendee in Fontenay-le-Comte, France.
The January 2026 NRT test was originally scheduled to be held only on 30 January 2026. However, due to high demand, EuroNASCAR expanded the tests into a two-day affair, with a test day set for 29 January as well.
“The NASCAR Euro Series is proud to announce that the highly anticipated NASCAR Recruitment Test (NRT) scheduled for January 30, 2026, has officially reached full capacity,” announced the series.
“That’s why [series organizers] TEAM FJ opened extra availability on January 29. The roaring demand for these track sessions just shows this championship is the fast lane for top-notch drivers looking to punch their ticket to the big leagues of pro motorsport.”
All but one of the participants are new to the EuroNASCAR stock cars, with the only “returning” participant being RDV Competition’s Rookie Challenge driver Yann Cristovao.
Cristovao will be joined by Brits Jacob Parry, Renan Cattucci and Josh Wakefield, Austrian Alan Saber, German Maximilian Seth and Tylan Lauser, Polish Sebastian Kuccera, Luxembourger Nathalie Neumann, Hungarian Alexander Wastl and Bence Varga, and Canadian Brad Ranson.
Ranson in particular will use EuroNASCAR’s Recruitment Tests to help gain experience before his planned debut in the NASCAR Canada Series with DJK Racing.
The drivers will be coached by SpeedHouse’s team boss Lucas Lasserre and Rette Jones Racing’s veteran driver Gil Linster.
It’s possible that the January 2026 tests will not be the last for the current edition of the Recruitment Test, as NASCAR Euro Series is “evaluating additional test dates” to accommodate those who did not make the cut.
