MX Vogel and Team RC completes their 2025 NASCAR Brasil Series roster by respectively signing Nick Monteiro and Adalberto Baptista.
Two NASCAR Brasil teams have announced their full drivers line-up for the upcoming 2025 season. Both MX Vogel and Team RC locked in their allocation of teams with the announcements that they made on 12 and 14 March respectively.
MX Vogel will add a seventh driver to their roster after they signed Nick Monteiro. The son of Beto Monteiro is set to race the No. 9 Ford Mustang on his second NASCAR Brasil campaign.
“I am very happy to announce that I will race in 2025 for NASCAR Brasil,” said Nick in the official announcement. “I’m even happier to be part of the MX Vogel team.”
“I want to thank my father Beto Monteiro for everything he has done and continues to do for me. He is a great partner and coach, as well as everyone who is part of this great project. Let’s go for it!”
In our report for Luciane Klai’s signing, we reported that MX Vogel had already signed six drivers by that point. Because they signed seven drivers for a six-car team, there were questions on how the team will handle their rotations for 2025.
The announcement of their full squad on 12 March answered that question. Alex Seid, one half of the 2024 champions, will race alongside Julio Campos in the No. 7 Ford Mustang.
Seid and Campos’ combo meant that Gabriel Casagrande – the undisputed stock car champion of Brazil – will be the solo driver of the No. 83 Ford Mustang.
As for Team RC, they completed their squad by signing Botafogo Sao Paulo’s president Adalberto Baptista. Baptista, a sportswear magnate through his VOLT Sports brand, is a veteran of several seasons during the Sprint Race years. However, 2025 will be his first season in the NASCAR era.
“I’m very excited to return to the category after three years and even more so now with the Team RC, a multi-champion Brazilian team,” said Baptista, who is also active in TCR and sports car racing.
Baptista will race the No. 10 Chevrolet Camaro, likely in the Challenge division. Compared to MX Vogel, all six Team RC cars will be raced solo by their respective drivers.
Felipinho Tozzo, Jorge Martelli, Galid Osman, Caca Bueno and Witold Ramasauskas have all previously announced their deals with Team RC for 2025.
