Simone Laureti

Profile:

A gentleman driver who at one point held the record for the most races started in the Elite 2 class, Simone Laureti is a familiar face in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, initially competing with CAAL Racing in his debut season before switching to Double T Racing in 2015, where he would stay for the rest of his Euro Series career so far including after Double T’s merger with Dario Caso’s Vict Motorsport to form Racers Motorsport.

Having done charity works with Fondazione Telethon in the past, he will brought sponsorship from Telethon in his first season in the Elite 1 class this year as he will be driving Racers’ newly-expanded third team, the No. 19 Telethon / NasKart Chevrolet Camaro. He would later also competed in the Elite 2 class at Venray, returning to the No. 9 Vexatec / Jeikey Ford Mustang seat that he drove in 2018.
