Moreno di Silvestre is the inaugural winner of the NasKart Trophy, a karting championship held by the Italian ACI Karting Championship that offers its champion with an opportunity to race for a full season campaign in the Elite 2 class of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series with Racers Motorsport. He ultimately decided to not accept the Racers offer however as he decided to join CAAL Racing to become its academy driver. DI Silvestre will receive his first opportunity in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series when he was chosen as the driver of the No. 31 Delphix Chevrolet SS at Franciacorta in the Elite 2 class.
