Profile:
Mauro Trione, the current Southern EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Asia) VP Sales for Delphix, enjoyed considerable success in the early-to-mid 90’s when he competed in touring car and sports car racing categories in Italy before he retired to focus on his manager business. Working as Manager for companies such as Dell EMC and BMC Software in the past, Trione has gained a reputation in the business world as an accomplished professional and a leader to those who have worked with him.
Trione’s experience with testing the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series cars during the 2018 Recruitment Days was enough for him to put himself out of retirement and race full-time in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series despite having retired from racing for 23 years. Competing for Race Art – Blu Mot in 2018, he would move to drive CAAL Racing’s No. 31 Delphix Chevrolet SS this year after Race Art – Blu Mot and CAAL agreed to a merger in the pre-season that would saw the Race Art’s No. 31 team moved ownership to CAAL in the 2019 season.
