Freddie Hemborg, like his No. 77 teammate Alexander Graff, is a veteran driver in the Sweden’s V8 Thunder Cars as well as a long-time driver for Memphis Racing. First competing in the Formula Ford in 2002, he made a switch to touring cars in 2004, achieving success in Fyndbörsen Cup and Volvo Original Cup before he made his move to silhouette racing in 2009 when he first joined the Camaro Cup Sweden, the predecessor of the V8 Thunder Cars.

Hemborg first joined Memphis Racing in 2011 and has competed with the team ever since. Like Graff, he will made a full-time switch from the V8 Thunder Cars to the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series as Hemborg is scheduled to compete full-time as the Elite 2 driver of Memphis Racing’s No. 77 Exclusive Cars / Indian Motorcycles Chevrolet Camaro.
