EuroNASCAR 2 – Pole Position Leaders

Within the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, Europe’s premier series of stock car racing, it is important for drivers and teams to score a pole position to maximize their chances of winning a race.
A total of 43 different drivers and 21 different teams have scored a Pole Position in the junior EuroNASCAR 2 division since the first season of NASCAR Whelen Euro Series under official NASCAR sanctioning in 2012.
Listed below are the drivers and the teams that have scored a pole position in the EuroNASCAR 2 class of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. The all-time list excludes races that are not considered as part of the official championship calendar, such as the 2012 exhibition race at Tours and the two Trofeo Angelo Caffi tournaments.
NOTE : The list shown below are correct as of the end of the 2024 Valencia NASCAR Fest at Circuit Ricardo Tormo. Drivers shown in “bold” are drivers that have competed in at least one (1) EuroNASCAR 2 race of the 2024 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season.
DRIVERS
Eric Quintal became the first driver to start first in an EuroNASCAR 2 race when he secured the pole position in the inaugural EuroNASCAR 2 race at Circuit Paul Armagnac in 2012.
The most recent driver to score a pole position for the first time is Paul Jouffreau, who secured his maiden pole in the first race of the 2023 American Festival of Rome at Autodromo Vallelunga.
Cyprus driver Vladimiros Tziortzis currently holds the record for the most pole positions with 12, just ahead of Tobias Dauenhauer who had 11 poles. Thomas Ferrando is third on the all-time poles list with 9 pole positions.
