EuroNASCAR OPEN – Fastest Lap Leaders
The all-time table for drivers that have scored a fastest lap in at least one race of EuroNASCAR’s second division, EuroNASCAR OPEN.
Having the fastest car is often the key to winning in the NASCAR Euro Series. A clear indication of a machine’s speed is its ability to set the fastest lap time during a race.
A total of 46 different drivers and 24 different teams have secured the Fastest Lap award since the first season under official NASCAR sanctioning in 2012.
Listed below are the all-time table for fastest lap scorers in EuroNASCAR OPEN. The all-time list excludes races that are not considered as part of the official championship calendar, such as the 2012 exhibition race at Tours and the two Trofeo Angelo Caffi tournaments.
NOTE : The list shown below are correct as of the end of the 2024 EuroNASCAR Finals at Circuit Zolder. Drivers shown in “bold” are drivers that have competed in at least one (1) EuroNASCAR OPEN race of the 2024 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season.
NOTE 2 : For Race 2 of the 2012 Spa 200, there was no reputable data found on who scored the Fastest Lap. Therefore, the driver and team that scored the Fastest Lap in that race is currently listed as “Unknown”.

DRIVERS
Vincent Gonneau is the first driver to earn the Fastest Lap award in EuroNASCAR OPEN. The Frenchman achieved this feat when he set the best lap time in the inaugural NASCAR Euro Series race under NASCAR sanctioning at Circuit Paul Armagnac in 2012.
The most recent driver to score the fastest lap for the first time is Thomas Toffel. The Swiss secured his first fastest lap award in Race 1 of the 2024 EuroNASCAR Finals at Circuit Zolder.
Thomas Ferrando and Martin Doubek are currently tied for the most fastest laps with 13 each. Ferrando was the first to achieve this feat, with his path to 13 began when he set his 10th fastest lap to break the previous record set by Stienes Longin.
Three more fastest laps for the Frenchman meant that Ferrando’s total tally came up to 13. It was this number that Doubek tied with his most recent fastest lap, achieved in Race 1 of the 2024 NASCAR GP Czech Republic.
Because Doubek is still active in EuroNASCAR OPEN, the Czech driver has a strong chance to broke this tie in 2025. Behind them, Vladimiros Tziorzis currently sits in third with 10 career fastest lap awards.

On the Team’s side, Hendriks Motorsport currently holds the record for the most fastest laps with 35. The Dutch team beat the previous benchmark set by PK Carsport with their 21st fastest lap award, which they achieved in Race 1 of the 2021 NASCAR GP Belgium.
PK still maintains second place with their tally of 20 fastest laps. CAAL Racing is currently third with 14 fastest laps.
