Profile:

Bert Longin enjoyed plenty of success in sports car racing, with him earning his biggest successes in Belcar where he is a 3-time champion. He made his stock car racing debut in 2014 as PK Carsport’s initial drivers in the team’s debut season, scoring a pole in his debut race on his way to finish sixth in the championship. He continued for two more seasons before he decided to step away from driving duties in 2017 to give his son Stienes a chance to compete in the Elite 1 class.

He returned to driving duties in 2018 where in addition to his commitments in Belcar, he returned to NASCAR Whelen Euro Series to drive in Alex Caffi Motorsport’s No. 1 car at Brands Hatch before returning to PK Carsport to become the replacement driver of the suspended Anthony Kumpen at Hockenheim. This year, Bert will be making a switch to the Elite 2 class as he will do a part-time campaign in PK Carsport’s No. 11 Projob Chevrolet Camaro, alternating with Tom Boonen, Niels Albert, and former Elite 1 rival Freddy Nordström for driving duties in the No. 11 team.
