Bremotion’s Patrick Brenndörfer and Garrett Lowe give their thoughts on the tricky weekend that the German team had in Vallelunga.
Bremotion was among one of the unluckiest teams in the 2025 American Festival of Rome. Everything that could go wrong seemingly did go wrong for the German team in Italy.
Their flagship No. 99 BS+ Competition Camaro suffered from Garrett Lowe’s crash in Friday Practice, caused by an erroneous gear shift to neutral. However, the situation was worse for the No. 77 OnlyFans Camaro.
Vanessa Neumann was one of the three drivers involved in the big crash at the first EuroNASCAR OPEN race. The crash totaled the No. 77 Camaro, writing off both Vanessa and Julien Rehberg for the rest of the weekend.
“It’s hard to put into words how disappointing the weekend was for us,” said team boss Patrick Brenndörfer in Bremotion’s official post-race release.
“The behavior of some of the drivers is really disappointing. It not only cost us a lot in sporting terms, but also financially.”
“The resulting deficit will probably accompany us through the entire season. I hope that we have put the bad luck behind us.”
Rehberg and Vanessa are now trailing behind their opponents since they scored very few points in Vallelunga. Rehberg is 12th in the EuroNASCAR PRO standings, 50 points behind championship leader Paul Jouffreau.
As for Vanessa, she sits in 19th place in the EuroNASCAR OPEN standings. “Happinessa” is 60 points behind championship leader Thomas Krasonis, but is only three points behind her Lady Trophy rival Arianna Casoli because Casoli was also involved in the big crash.
Lowe and Schaak had to make do with minimal Practice time, but they finished all four races. This is despite Schaak spinning the No. 99 Camaro in the first EuroNASCAR OPEN race, which he managed to rejoin and finish.
Lowe even managed to bring his first piece of EuroNASCAR silverware. The American iRacing star finished eighth on Saturday, which was good enough for third place in the Junior Trophy classification.
Lowe is now sixth in the PRO standings, just 27 points behind Jouffreau in the title and Trophy race. Schaak is 12th in OPEN standings with only 33 points separating him from Krasonis at the top.
“I’m pretty happy, but yesterday’s result was a bit disappointing,” said Lowe to Andre Wiegold prior to Sunday’s races. “We made a mistake during practice, which cost us a lot of track time and hurt our qualifying efforts.”
“I’m not perfectly pleased, but I never am. We had a decent start to the season, and we’re looking for more.”
