SpeedHouse Racing started their off-season programs with preparations for SpeedHouse Winter Camp at Fontenay and announcing the arrival of an experienced track engineer.
SpeedHouse Racing is optimistic for the upcoming 2025 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season after team boss Lucas Lasserre revealed a series of activities and changes that he had prepared for his team.
SpeedHouse had already confirmed Andreas Kuchelbacher as one of its Club Challenge drivers and is working with Arianna Casoli to find sponsors for the Italian’s fourth season with the team – and her tenth overall – in 2025.
Kuchelbacher and Casoli potentially will have new teammates for next year based on who gets to impress SpeedHouse the most during their Winter Camp, set to be hosted on 29 October at Circuits de Vendée in Fontenay-le-Comte.
The team also hints at the arrival of a new track engineer, one that has a “wealth of winning experience in EuroNASCAR” according to SpeedHouse’s press release.
“The season has wrapped up, and we’re already gearing up for the next one!” said Lasserre on SpeedHouse’s 2025 plans. “On October 29th, we’ll kick off our traditional SpeedHouse Winter Camp, featuring a mix of new drivers and familiar faces.”
“After that, we’ll dive into preparations for the upcoming season, which will include the addition of a track engineer with a wealth of winning experience in EuroNASCAR, along with other exciting updates.”
Lasserre also spoke about his time in the EuroNASCAR Finals at Circuit Zolder. The Frenchman admits that his double DNF there was a hard pill to swallow, but he kept his head high after a strong season in 2024.
“It wasn’t the weekend I expected, especially since Zolder has always been my playground,” said Lasserre in the press release. “Both races saw me bow out at the first corner.”
“In Race 1, I finished in 15th place after a contact in turn 1, far from the crucial points. In Race 2, I had to leave the car outside turn 1 after a rough hit from another competitor. Sure, finishing sixth doesn’t reflect the talent I’ve shown throughout the season, but that’s motorsport! “
“It’s time for some thank-yous: to all the drivers who put their trust in us, to our supportive sponsors, and to the entire SpeedHouse team!”
“Last but definitely not least, big congrats to Vittorio Ghirelli and Martin Doubek, respectively the champions of EuroNASCAR PRO and EuroNASCAR 2 for 2024!”
