We recapped NASCAR Whelen Euro Series’ time in the 2024 Autosport International Show by highlighting the biggest reveals and spectacles that was showcased at Birmingham.
NASCAR Whelen Euro Series has completed their participation in the 2024 Autosport International Show at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre with flying colors thanks to a series of activities that attracted the attention of motorsport fans in the United Kingdom.
From 11-14 January, EuroNASCAR gave fans the chance to see the V8-powered stock cars up close, both in the show area and the Live Action Arena.

The latter provided the biggest spectacle as Jack Davidson and EuroNASCAR’s founder, President and CEO Jerome Galpin took their turns to do show runs and burn the rubber with the two-seater Ford Mustang.
“With Galpin sharing driving duties with Davidson, the #16 Ford Mustang delighted thousands of fans in the Live Action Arena with its roaring V8 engine, performing slides and doing donuts wrapped in a cloud of tire smoke,” said the series on its official report.

Davidson and the Ford Mustang itself also starred in the show as the Autosport International Show was used to reveal two new aspects of the 2024 EuroNASCAR season.
Reigning Rookie Trophy winner Davidson used the event to reveal Lux Motorsport’s entry to the series with the No. 21 GT Omega Chevrolet Camaro. More on Lux Motorsport’s announcement can be read in this link.

The Ford Mustang two-seater unveiled EuroNASCAR’s changes to the Ford body style. The light decals have been updated to match the seventh-generation S650 Ford Mustang model, which will also hit the track in NASCAR’s Cup and Xfinity Series this year.

Last but not least, EuroNASCAR’s representatives were also invited to join the show’s main stage to discuss the elements that made the series unique compared to its competitors and the key points that made American SpeedFest a success in the British motoring scene.
Galpin and Davidson were joined by MotorSport Vision’s Group Motorsport Event Manager David Willey and EuroNASCAR’s Chief Media Officer Gian Luca Guiglia for the interviews at the main stage across three days.

“It was a pleasure for us to be featured at the Autosport International Show, it was definitely a busy weekend,” said Galpin in the official release. “It’s amazing to be able to get so many passionate fans in direct contact with the series and its protagonists.”
“Our events and our car always gather a lot of interest and every time more people, both among the professionals and the fans, take advantage of opportunities like the AS24 to get a deeper knowledge of the series. We are sure many of them will take the opportunity to join us at the track to be part of our unique events and enjoy the best racing show in Europe.”
